It follows a conversation we had when moving into our flat, about television licences.
To quote:

Here it is:
I have a television licence.
I need to license my television.
Further examples:

Here it is:
Licence with a c is the noun.
License with an s is the verb.
In sentences:I have a television licence.
I need to license my television.
Further examples:
Practice/practise.
I went to football practice.I practise my football.
Advice/Advise.
I want some advice.Can you advise me?
